Get ready for an unforgettable 2-day East Java adventure exploring two iconic destinations: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Mount Bromo. This journey combines natural wonders and scenic landscapes, and thrilling volcanic experiences.

Day 1: Surabaya or Malang – Tumpak Sewu – Hotel in Bromo Area

Our friendly and experienced driver will pick you up at 06:00 AM from your location in Surabaya or Malang (hotel, airport, or train station). Your journey begins with a scenic drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in East Java, renowned for its breathtaking beauty. You’ll explore the waterfall and nearby attractions like Goa Tetes, offering a mix of natural adventure and photo opportunities. Afterward, continue the journey to your hotel near the Bromo area. Upon arrival, you can rest or take a walk around the nearby local village and enjoy the peaceful mountainous surroundings.

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise – Drop Off (Surabaya / Malang )

Around 02:00 AM, your Bromo adventure begins with a 4WD Jeep ride to the sunrise viewpoint — the most iconic spot to witness the beautiful sunrise over Bromo.

As the sun rises above the misty horizon, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Mount Bromo’s active crater, the majestic Mount Semeru (the highest volcano in Java), Mount Batok, and the vast Sea of Sand stretching below. After sunrise, your adventure continues across the Sea of Sand toward the base of Mount Bromo. From there, you can hike or ride a horse up the slope and climb the stairs to the crater rim, where you’ll feel the warmth and energy of the active volcano.

Before heading back, take time to explore Luhur Poten Temple, a sacred Hindu temple nestled in the caldera. You’ll then enjoy a warm, traditional Indonesian breakfast at your hotel before continuing journey ends with a drop-off in Surabaya or Malang (by request).

    07.00 am – 08.00 am Hike to the crater rim and enjoy the volcanic landscape
    08.00 am – 08.30 am Explore the Sea of Sand and visit Luhur Poten Temple
    08.30 am – 09.00 am Breakfast at the hotel
    12.00 am – 03.30 pm Return and drop off at Surabaya / Malang (by request)
